Ginostra is a small, lovely village absolutely untouched. Reachable only from the sea, it lays on the south-west side of the island of Stromboli. In winter it has just fifteen inhabitants, but in summer there are hundreds of tourists, hosted in the ancient, typical eolian houses. It is a place of wild nature and silence. There are no cars neither scooters, the only help for men's hard job is provided by donkeys. The charming night tour around the island allows to watch volcanic eruptions from the sea.
